Aging Resistance Silicone Rubber For Vacuum Bag

Each complete set of the silicon bag includes one top and one bottom sheet. The top pad, designed without suction nozzles, enables the elastic top blanket to tightly envelop the glass surface and edges, ensuring a thorough contact and eliminating any trapped air that could disrupt the vacuuming process.

Furthermore, a bag is equipped with a silicone tube or more that connect to the vacuum terminal pipe, ultimately leading to the vacuum pump.

1. What is the standard size for vacuum bags?

It is a very common question. However, absolutely NOT. In our process, customers provide us with the external dimensions of the desired bags, or we recommend outer sizes based on their maximum glass width and length.

2. What is the standard bag configuration you offer?
  • U seals on the edges.
  • Two nozzles on the lower pad on the short side.
  • Two silicone hoses, 3M long each.
  • Inner diameter (ID) – 6mm and Outer diameter (OD) – 12mm.

3. How can you prevent the bag from being cut by the glass?

To avoid the bag being cut by the glass during the lamination, we suggest using PTFE(Teflon) open mesh sheet. This material acts as a protective barrier, minimizing the risk of the glass puncturing or slicing through the bag.

4. What is the distinction between External size and working area?

Usually customers tell us a size firstly, for example 1800mm X 3300mm. By default, we regard it as external size; so the real working area will be smaller than 1800mm X 3300mm. But one thing we must guarantee is that your machine’s space is big enough to accommodate the silicone vacuum seal bag.

5. Can you provide more information about vacuum nozzles?

Vacuum nozzles (ports) and vacuum tubes (hoses) are important parts.

  • How many nozzles do you want for a bag? Only 1 port, 2 ports or more, please advise firstly.
  • A nozzle's position is usually on one of the four corners.

  • 70%-80% of customers prefer OD-12mm and ID-6mm silicone vacuum tube.
  • 20%-30% of customers ever choose OD-20mm and ID-10mm silicone vacuum hose.
