This custom silicone membrane is manufactured with one side high tear strength silicone and the other side high-temperature resistant, high-elasticity aramid fabric. It is widely used in vacuum press machines, heat transfer machines, wooden press and steel door press machines.
Instead of calling it a silicone membrane, it would be more accurate to refer to it as silicone elastic cloth. In fact, it is essentially a layer of silicone membrane bonded to a layer of high-temperature fabric.
The silicone membrane is a crucial component of the vacuum heat transfer system for aluminum profiles. It is made from a high anti-tear material that withstands high temperatures and possesses high elasticity, is mucosity-proof, and anti-static. This makes it an ideal material for transferring wood-effect patterns onto aluminum profiles during the vacuum heating process.
